The sixth annual Travel Marketing Awards are coming to the historic Park Lane area of London on March 20, 2014. The awards are the premier event for the travel industry in Europe, so you can bet that tour operators, travel agencies and other hospitality companies will be eagerly anticipating this year’s winners.
The Travel Marketing Awards recognise companies within the hospitality and travel industry that demonstrates excellence in the field of marketing and marketing standards. The awards are sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Travel Industry Group (CIMTIG). Awards are given in a number of categories including PR or Marketing Team of the Year, Best App, and Travel Brand of the Year.
A brand-new venue was chosen for this year’s awards programme: the Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel on Park Lane. The hotel was originally opened in 1929 on the site of the former residences of the Dukes of Westminster, whose family surname was Grosvenor. Since its opening, the hotel has hosted the world’s most important business executives, famous celebrities, and even royalty.
Situated nicely on the eastern border of Hyde Park, Grosvenor House is a beautiful property with plenty of character and charm. However, the property’s historic value and reputation make it the perfect venue for the Travel Marketing Awards. Grosvenor House embodies what it means to travel to new places and experience new things.
This year’s judges include well-known executives from Disney, World Travel Market, Thomas Cook UK & Ireland, M & C Saatchi, and more.
